Nice buy, been long since I saw a mk1 unmodified in that good a condition. Pleeez don't hoodrice it or something like that, It deserves a good tuned 1.8 16valve on dual 45's and a set of wide 13's ;)

Is it your first car? if yes, it's a good decision to buy a bucket to practice on it.
And 600 €? good price I'd say. In Austria you'd pay 1000€+ for this one.
But the engine ^^.....my mowing machine has a bigger one :D

But... why are you just telling us about 0-70 km/h. Is 70km/h the top speed of this thing or you just dont want to go faster than that being afraid of the car being transformed to a heap of metal and rust? And what have the previous owner done to the rear axle? He couldn't afford buying four lowering springs so he bought just two and put them on the rear(!)? xD
Nah, I'm just kidding, you can't get a perfect car for that money, and that... thing... seem kinda ok. Now go get yourself a bunch of extra headlights so you can see something out there in the forests where you live. xD

well i've only done about 90kmh in it since I can't really drive legaly and the straight i was on is like 300m + the breaks sucks xD
The previous owner was some 60yrld dude who bought it when it was new xD and he has taken really good care of it :P
Later on im thinking about gti or vr6 engien , chrome rollcage , coilovers and a set of epic racing wheels and tires :P But IF that happens then it will be later on when we´ve rebuilt the garage so that i can get the car in xD

Inter alloy... everyone on the forum who use them say that they work amazingly well for that low price xD
never heard of them.
just iv heard nothing but bad about makes like supersport etc the really cheap coilovers like on ebay and some sites. really cheap but really badly made and are not as confertable.

One option to keeping it low is to park it down the street... about 800meters from my house :(
rear springs are slammed now, will raise them 6-10mm or so xD

Made it about 1,5cm higher at the rear cause the tire was tuching the arches..
Then i changed one of the front coilovers and started on the other when ofcourse the nut broke FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK UCK UCK UCJIQEOCMIOQJC!!!!111

Its Sweden, the police pulled over a Volvo 740 at school yesterday.
It lacked interior, roof, windows you can see trough, rounds on the springs and mufflers.
They made some jokes and left.
As long as it steers and brake hes fine.

i tryed putting a pizza box (in thermal bag) on my roof rack one night at work. I was a stuff up so i just had to take it back to the shop. It was hot when i put it on but stone cold after 5mins on the roof at 60km/h. So don't go putting hot food on there! :D
You need a real solid one like mine. I'd stand on it if it wasn't going to bend the roof where the feet of it are.

I just made mine for fun to fill in some time, and i thought i'd never use it for anything more then just putting random stuff on for shows. I've got all kinda of old garage bits and other old rusted stuff to use.
I've used it heaps, i've had ladders, wire doors for my house, carpet heaps of stuff.
I found this from when i was helping clean out a mate garage. the carpet is to put under my 1602 when i'm working under it. It was pretty smelly and no way was i going to put it in the car. Also scored an old petrol can too.
