been lowerd 40mm on gmax shocks, 17" wheels there not big, but there fucking wide and billet hi spec 4 pots (painted gold) with green stuff pads.

Body mods
- bonnet extention
-irmschre* spoiler
-and astra mk4 indicators
-colour coded vectra delocked door handles

the engine shot.

engine mods
- cortany high torque cams
-power flow airbox filter
-powercap
-new back box and silenser (the bore is alot wider after the cat)
-used to be decated untill it failed the mot, got rid of it for new cat
-engine comes with a stock 4 branch manifold, dad got a cheap on off his mates with wider exhaust tubes leading into one.
-corbra alarm and immobaliser

Does about 0-60 in 7 seconds not sure how much hp, stock has 150, dad reacond with mods on it about 160 165. does 140mph might do alittle more but i doubt it.

and some more when we put the new leather interior in. it had leather as stock from the factory but being a 1994 moel it was just rank, so dad had it upgraded to leather from a 1998 model. not bad for £50.

My Dad's old workplace had a calibra which one of them baught so technicly it was the company car. :D Was de-restricted, chiped, blah, blah and the fucker flew! My nan lives at the top of a hill which is about the length of 2 football pitches I rekon and he turned in, was in 3rd and floored it, before we hit her house near the top we were doing 90. xD Then they sold it for 1k when the place went under. :( Gutted.

All this leads to me saying I rekon 160 is easily acheivable if its modded right. :D And the 0-60 is little slow :p

lol, yer if the engines tunes right a redtop can get about 200bhp, in some case's a few people my dads knows have got 250 out if it without a turbo. apparently lol

most body kits look shite on cally's , and the colour on the photo's are light the first pictures the real colour. most pics taken on my phone anyway.

not all cars need body kits to look good dude. some cars are suited to a body kit, other aint. for a calibra only a handfull of body kits actually suit the car, out of the range of bodykits going. one type of bodykit that looks good on a cally is the regier bodykits, but they only look good if its a turbo with a front mounted intercooler.

you have two cool decisions
leave the body as it is

or buy a kamei bodykit
my uncle had a 4x4 turbo whit this bodykit, was awesome, imo its the only bodykit that fits nice on the calibra

my dads mates got that exact body kit on his car, except his was metallic green. really nice kit.

me dad said he's got to much stuff to worrry about and wont be putting a body kit on. he's just gonna do the engine bay up and stuff and get the wheels refurbished and the interior all sorted.

Body kits = GAY spesh that one, just your regular chav kit.
OEM is the way to go.

Looks like Riegers bodykit. I'd just keep it stock or oem+ it

I kind of like grounding effect so subtle bodykits me like. :D

But tbh i dont like calibra's, they have serious rust problems. :P
And here only chavs have them and they arent worth a fuck, know a guy that bought a 4x4, leather etc and lost a lot a few years later. But that says nothing.

Dad had a "cool" opel once, an omega 3000.

not many cally's have rust problems theres a few spots which are prone to rust.but if you look after the car properly. there are a few drainage problems, and the front of the dash cracks, aswell as having piss pore handling being based on the cavilier. 4x4 turbo's have problems too liek the tanfer box and brake. and the 4 whels drive is absolute crap, also you have to replace all 4 tyres if you have a puncture on just one.

Dafyddla

:S Why do you have to replace all tyres for one puncture ?

calibrase2
02-21-2008, 03:13 PM
thats only for the 4x4, its cos the uneven balance of the 4 wheels drive system, technically its a design fault, its not gfor a puncture only if you have to replace the tyre, should wrote that above, proberly make it more clearer lol
