Started off when i passed my test in 2004, got myself a small cheapish run around, i say cheap but it cost £1200 for the car and £1400 on insurance!!

Then after almost a year, and 1 years ncb now under my belt i exchanged it with cash for this:

Had several problems with the car including the revs not holding causing the engine to stall, i found out this problem was common on the 1.6e engine.
Then this happened:

And it was written off. :(

Ignis Sport eh... lucky ***
They're pretty quick but be careful in the wet... you'll have virtually no grip. Get a set of Eagle F1's on it ASAP.
How did you bin the Megane?

I believe the Ignis Sport is an underrated car, but i love it, i wanted to be different from the other young guys with 106's, 306's, Fietas etc... it's not that i don't like those cars but i just wanted something different.
Cheers for the advice.
With the Megane i was coming to a cross road and got waved across by the white van opposite, i checked both ways went to go and a car hit the drivers arch, i don't know why i didn't see it, the lady said she swerved so she hit my arch and not my door, so i was lucky i wasn't injured!

FFS, just got a call to tell me that the car isn't going to be ready for collection today, they still need to fix some scratches on the car, so it won't be ready for collection till tomorrow.
That's just great, insurance expires on my Saxo today, i was all geared up ready to pick it up and part with my Saxo, i was going to take it for a long drive to try and get used to it, no chance of that now, i'm working tomorrow and all over the weekend and there's friends who wanted to see it who i promised to pop round and show them, and now this happens, such a ball ache!!
I'm so angry, depressed and disappointed all at the same time. All the excitement crushed just like that! Why can't things just run smoothly!

I know, lol, it's just he said it would definitely be ready for today. I was a bit annoyed when I typed that, I've calmed down now and managed to get my insurance sorted. I was just so geared up and ready because it's much nicer than my car which is causing me a bit of grief at the moment.

Not at all! They're surprisingly quick and well built. It's almost certainly more reliable than my 9-3 and quicker off the line too. Off boost, it's sluggish (it's a heavy car) and on boost, it completely overwhelms the tyres and you sit in a cloud of smoke.
Bloody dangerous in the wet though (with standard tyres)... as that pic proves.

What do they do from 0-60 then? Can't be faster than your 9-3 aero thing :P

I believe it's 8.9 secs 0 - 60, top speed is 115mph.
