well im now 16 and bought this car last may when i was 15 and was stored until the summer when i took it apart not much done but put on a spit and an innersill tech welded and rear arches cut out for bigger ones.

What it looks like atm and no thats not the wheels i am going to have lol.

thats why im not xpacking theres a 1300 original engine which has twin carbs and might be tweaked inside abit if i xpacked it then i would need really big wheels which would slow the car down and everyone would think you had a cosworth or sumfin like that.

thanks i'll be modding engine in the inside only hehe the only outer mod to the engine is new twin webbers. i was actually only 14 when i got the car and didnt start until i was 15 and got a scare as there was talk that the age limit to drive was going to be raised to 21 but there has been no more talk about it.

Takes 2years to pass a Law. And they haven't even passed it into the commons yet.

Yum, it's so great to see someone doing actual work on a 'proper' car instead of just detailing some fwd hatchback. Love the car, love the arches love that the younger genereations learn to weld , wish I had parents like you who don't try to stop me from working on cars,(didn't start until I was 18) now I have a girlfriend who does it instead. Really looking forward to cleaning out the garage so I can start welding the XR4i, thanks for the inspiration :)

well to get all the work done for rear arch and in boot on that corner only took 3 days but grinding took about 3 hrs its a cunt when the disk hits your hand 1 day to get front panel off and new one on so about a week and a half of work has been done to her over a 2year period.
