Hey guys I got a request to show how to make an animated sig
so I here is a quick tutorial on how it is done. I am using Photoshop
CS2. If you are using CS you will have to use imageready, check
out google they alot of different ones to step you through this
also.
================================================== =
1) Make a new psd with the
original and your final
chop on two different
layers.
================================================== =
2) Click Window, Animation

================================================== =
3) Only allow your
original picture to be
visible at this time. Now
make apx 7-10 frames.
Remember that the more
frames you use the larger
the size of the gif and the
longer it will take to load.

================================================== =
4) Now with all you frames
made, select the second
frame. Make your choped
layer visible.

well this prob won't help but if ur usin Fireworks theres a much easier way.
1. Select all ur mods and leave the base image deselected. Then go Insert, Animation, Animate Selection. give it about four frames.
2. make sure the Move is at zero and that there is no Scaling. Go to Opacity and make the first box 0%.
3.Hit OK. Then select ur base image and do the same but don't change the Opacity. MAKE SURE THE BASE IMAGE IS ON TOP OF THE MODS!!!!! make sure they have the same amount of frames.
4. Go File, Export Preview and in the drop down menu select Animated GIF. Filesize will be huge.

i hope that helped any fireworks users.
