View Full Version : Asanti Rim
Now i usually dont do 3d, but i started learning it some time back but since then gave up on it...not so long ago i got back into it after seeing how it is important in automotive design and competitions "BS Peugeot comp" and started learning advanced poly modeling and made this.

Well Im not completely new to max but Im not a veteran either...theres a tutorial on this wheel at 3dm but its hosted on rapidshare in pieces and downloading it is a biatch i only got first portion of it which explains the basic set up and plane arrangement, i didnt bother with the getting all of it and did rest using my own knowledge. Thanks for comments, i may do next my Koenig rim that Ive done in Ps render...so stay tuned.

Standard studio lighting tut is awesome! I followed it through and it's now the basics for all my
renders. All I do is merge me project im working on into the setup, apply textures and render. :)
Although I tweaked it a bit (which is worth doing, allows you to learn what does what etc) the
basic set-up you make is brill.
