Well i think that most people assume that topics posted in the Website Designs section are related to websites.

I use Imageready to animate websites.

if you have your site made in photoshop why should you slice it in imageready when there's a slice tool in photoshop?

Imageready is better suited to manage the slices. Yes Photoshop can create/edit the actual slices, but can you name slices, apply actions to slices, create mouseover effects on the slices etc. in Photoshop. Nope, but you can in Imageready.
You're always going to have to move to Imageready if you're doing anything with slices aside from just drawing them out anyway, so why not just start in Imageready

I hand code so slicing in photoshop is good enough. The rest i can do myself

how :?

you have CS2 or not?

Cause it's under the animation toolbar, just create new frames and change which layers are visible on each, and change the times on each if you don't want the default 0.0s.

Very simple. :)
