I know the exhaust is bad, and the spoiler is very basic, and the turbine in the turbo is oddly angled, but oh well. 132426 polygons alltogether, a little over 22k per wheel.
Edit: More.
Mmm...black wheels.

More to come guys..and if you want me to model any other parts to add to this scene just ask, I need more ideas..

But as i said on MSN you need a Carbon weave on that spoiler :P

You should have a go at something a bit bigger, you clearly know what your doing as those renders are pretty cool. I couldnt even make the letter T in 3ds max
your good where did you learn :?:

Nowhere really, just some good advice from buckas, and playing around, it really is the best way, make a box, play around with the different tools there is, find some tutorials on the interweb.

i'm not keen on the initial scenes with the bits and bobs but the minilite style wheels look nice.too many spokes though.
try doing some tyres , i found constructing the treads a bit more difficult than anything else i tried doing.

tyres are piss easy, vray displacement map - job done

i meant actually making them , not using a bump map or whatnot.
your picture looks nice though.

you can never get the right look of rubber tyred grooves however many polys you put it to modelling it to curve the edges - displace map is the only method to get the correct falloff of extrusion

The first pic is the best. Try and put a intercooler and a horn  and how long did it take to make them? Keep it up!

Wheels are the easiest, much easier than I thought anyway. I can make a wheel in say less than 5 minutes, but it would take that again to set up a scene, lighting, textures etc.

In this 3d Studio Max Tutorial we'll be modeling a car rim. This tutorial is intended for intermediate to advanced max users, and covers the entire process from beginning to end.

In my opinion I think you should cover some more details on the rims, and also on the shaders, the spoilers is missing some carbon fiber texture to give it more life. The turbo is missing a lot of detail. But Keep going, you´re getting better on each render!!
