I've got linux suse live CD... But; it WON'T boot...

Does your bios have the setting to boot from a USB drive? If not, then i don't think you could boot from it. You can do it from a cd though.

i want to know how to get linux onto the pen drive. and the pc i plan to use it on(a school one) has the function to boot from usb

then that pc is installed to boot from USB :] in its BIOS, check your BIOS again, maybe you can find it, but i dont think you have that, what version Of BIOS do you have ? and Witch one
