Ferrari 600 IMOLA V12

Okay !
the new ferrari was out (599 GTB ( code name "Imola" ) ) and i must say i din't like the styling one bit .
looked more like a bad attempt at "cool" lines ( they messed it up before at pininfarina ...F50 and the side of the 612) but then again they made some beutiful things like the
575 maranello and the 456 GT-M

i wanted to alter the car a bit to make it look more like a combo of all the things i like about ferrari styling over the past years and adding a slight bit of 250 GTO

so we have the lines of a 250 GTO side of a 456 gt a bit of 550/575 wit the long hood and the front styled like the 612 scaglietti

and gave it some new rims cuz it made me feel back to the daytona day's

so alot of history in this chop

almost evrything is rebrushed apart from the arches and the roof ( main part at least ) and the interior ( altough some alterations where made ) took me about 3 days of fiddeling taking aff parts deleting things ... starting over again ...svcreaming at the screen and lots of research

lol believe me it was hard .. as i said i took off alot of parts i brushed on
at one point i had the engine poking out of the hood and side exausts
and some widebody arches Bolted on with bolts and mega chromes

but then i started to think ....why

i wanted to make a nicer looking car then the 599 but not over the top racer

but then again ... this is the gr8 basis for a second version wich will be all bustin'badass take no prisoners racer style ;)

I somewhat prefer this to your usual style actually...

It's more realistic than your usual stuff, and the design
(minus a couple of things) , isn't way out there.
Everything pretty much suits it a treat. The modding of
the rear window was predictable - I would have done it
myself as I hate the original for that. I'm not totally
sure about that front end - although it fits the Ferrari
"look" - I think its the dipping part that throws me off.
The lights look quite 612 Scaglietti. I woundn't mind at
all if this style of yours stuck around for a while.

Interesting and great design, much better then the ugly imola...brushing and lightning is awesome. Something about the front, guess the grill make it look like its smiling :lol: other wise as mentioned id buy this instead of the original horrid imola...top job dude.

The side fits the car nicely would it be too much to ask for a rear view version?

You said that pinnifarina messed up but i think this might have been an in house design for ferrari.

It's not overdone, but it still has that great agressive look, even tho it's smiling :P

Insane! Those rims are sexual.. front rim looks a bit off or is the tyre just to big at the top because its half in the arch..

Love what u have done with the side.. looks a bit like the corv and the viper has.
the front is stunning, brushing is great, but it smiles.. and thats the only thing what i dont like.. it doesnt have an agressive look like the enzo and the f430 have.

Oh and the original isnt an original but just an wip.. because you have brushed a piece of the new roof at the back lol. :lol:

no that isn't the wip ... it is really how it looks

its just a metal bar a view inches from the windows ... in mid-air ... that is why i hate this car :P :lol:

I love the side of this thought it kinda remind me of a Viper the splitter is awsm so are the lights but it think it looks too happy can be a bit more aggresive :) My advice loose the grill and do an upside down one :)
