Nokia 6630/6680 unlocking etc

ok i have just purchased a Nokia 6630, on Orange, and my mate has bout the Nokia 6680, also on Orange. But we are both wondering when we will be able ot freely unlock our phones to O2.

Upon doin lots of research, i have found out that the BB5 codes these phones use, will not be available until sometime in Feb. Can anybody verify this for me please? as I dont want to incriminate my new phoe with this Orange crap currently residing in the sim card slot.

Put simply....not possible....unless you pay your provider 150 quid...

well orange quoted me 20 quid. its 3 that charge u the price of ur phone, plus 15quid on top. n they will only unlock it if u are the original owner of the fone. after a year of owning the phone, contract users only pay 15quid for the unlocking to be taken place
