big ass problem with my xbox

wen i went 2 turn on the system 2 play nfl street 2, it started making a loud clicking noise and the green ring around the eject buttun started flashing red and it said call custumer service but i cant do that cuz i have a mod chip which is obviously illegal.

has this happened to anyone else and do u kno wats wrong? wat should i do? and i dont wanna hear any other shit about xbox is crap

hmm i dunno. i have a feeling the mod chip did something but ivve had it for at lease 3.5 years and nuthin has messed up

The psx mod chip fucked myn up after about two years.. its a different consol but betting its the same problem. If its clicking tho, it sounds like a laser problem, have you knocked it hard recently? Laser may be out of line.
