R650

well, it all started off as some extreme 650 thing i wanted to go for..wanted it to go extreme with full bodykit and all that..
but when i was abusing it in photoshop, my pc felt sick and the bitch rebooted..so my psd file got wrecked, badly...luckily
I still had a wip on my server in about 50% of the original size, so i kept on working with that, but my mind changed...
And i wanted to go for a sportec sort of look, a realistic look that a performance tuner could give to the BMW 650i

i fitted some rockzors rims (imo) and slammed it, but the side was too dark, so i rebrushed most of it to match the rims
In this process, i cleaned the side, licenseplate and hood.
then, i wanted to get rid of those foglights, so i added some nice vents with intakes.
to make the front get a more powerfull look, i felt like adding some IC stuff, so more pipes and some steel for the front
I left the IC behind mesh in the middle cause i really liked it
Then all the IC needed was a bit of dirt on it, done.
now for the interior, i decided to subtle tint the windows, just for the look, guess it worked out, made the steeringwheel
partly wood and added a new rearview mirror inside.
then i had a look at the lights, they would look better if they were the same, so i did...made them the same, and made the insides abit brighter
a final toutch was given by the badge on the B-pillar and the little lightning on the front arch

oh, for the one's that dont find it advanced: I cant be arsed, i earned the right to post here, so i will.

leave some proper C&C please. keep in mind that my aim was : a realistic look that a performance tuner could give to the BMW 650i

Very, very nice my crazy dutch amigo!
I'm really digging the tuner look. Brushing, rims, front look fine!
Some sporty mirrors would've been awesome, just some
slightly changes and I'd like them.

You really reached your aim, I'm quite in love with this one. Everytime
the more I see it..nice also that you added some cool stuff to the Advanced
Section, there wasn't a chop in here for a long time.
Keep it up, send that to some tuner, I'm sure they'll like it like I do. :o

i do think tha rims dont suit it hough but tahts just opinion

As much as i roasted your arse on MSN about it being shite and totally under your standard, i was just joking. In all honesty i love it.

The rims catch your eye first, i'm not sure if thats a problem or not.
Could be slightly smaller ?
However the rest is fucking immense IMO.
Love the intercooler - It's the small details in the chop that make it so good.
Small scratches and splashes of mud on the intercooler for instance - Most people unfortunatly won't notice them - But they make the job for me :)

Ingore the people who say that it's not advanced. Unfortunatly if you're not extreme on Digimods then you're not worth much - Keep it up !

Wow great work Rick,
Loving all the small details they really make the chop more unique.
I could definitely see a company like AC Shnitzer doing this beemer up like that!

One problem though, i think the wheels are maybe a tad too big. But who care makes it look more daunting.

As Gary has stated, there are many people who don't appreciate
simplicity, and it is quite a shame. I think people should mature
enough to appreciate it in some from or fashion. Those hartige
wheels...suit it a bunch, I mean they did come off of the hartige
6 series anyways right?

The intercooler, intakes, plate removal, lighting effects, and pretty
much everything that I can tell is done to a high standard. It's
very realistic and subtle. I don't see sportec all the way in this.
I see a less extreme hartige really. The only thing that strikes
me as funny might be how the rear tire sits. Very nicely done though
Rick. I think you've more than proven yourself worthy for advanced
so don't even worry about the biters. ;)
They'll get dealt with if necessary.

Im not advance (yet) and i hope this does not sound harsh but i think that this is not special.

Yes i know your aiming for a realistic look.. and boy you have, removing the license plate has made the bumper much cleaner and smoother. But to be honest, all that i really see is a de-badged, smoother M6 with the same alloys used on Hartge's BMW M6.

But again, it still looks realistic :)

A performance tuner would have changed those stock elephant ears(mirrors),just an idea :|
