that '31 Ford sedan was in the Bullrun this year, and it won
beat the ferarri's and porsches on durability
they blew their motor, replaced it on the side of the freeway with one they found, and still crossed the finish line 6 minutes ahead of the 2nd place winner, a 550 Marinello
far as i know the '51 Chevy was in the run as well
some of the sickest machines i've ever seen, it'd be a shame to paint over them

the Ford's got a story on it in an issue of Ol' Skool Rodz a few issues back

both of them were built by the Gas Monkey Garage, as displayed on the trailer behind the cars
