Hi people,
Since it's christmas, I thought I would get my little Schumacher a new shell and wheels. But after spraying the shell today I can't decide if I should add the decals or not.

It would basically look like this (but black of course):

thanks extreme, I would highly recommend getting one.
It was £500 all in, although I have spent more on it since I got it.
Great fun though, here's some stats:
Weight: 1850g
Horsepower: 2.1 at 38 000 RPM
Power to weight ratio: 1000 HP per ton
0-60 mph: under two seconds
Top speed: 80mph
Brakes: carbon fibre discs

:O thats some awsome stats, my little borther had a skyline with a turbo boost, were you push the drive stick on the remote control till it clicks, wow that went fast!
I like you'res though, it looks sweet and them stats are awsome, i'm really thinking of getting one now. I'll wait untill after Xmas though.

The place where I got mine (Marionville Models (http://www.marionvillemodels.com/radio-controlled-models/cars/nitro-engine-powered/Schumacher-80-MPH-Fusion-F155-truck-Subaru-WRC-and-BMW-M3-Nitro-Petrol-Radio-control-car/product.aspx) have it on offer just now, if you were interested :) £350, although that doesn't include everything you need.

"Power to weight ratio: 1000 HP per ton"
I bet it does low 11's with overnight parts from Japan on Stock internals.

here's a great writeup I found overe at wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schumacher_Fusion)
The Fusion is an on-road 1:10 scale nitro-powered remote control car made by Schumacher Racing Products. It is the fastest ready-to-run 1:10 on-road car created as of 2005, featuring a .21 (3.5 ccm) capable of producing 2.1 horsepower at 38 000 RPM. Power is fed to all four wheels through a three-speed gearbox which easily makes it capable of speeds in excess of 80 mph (130 km/h) and 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) times in less than two seconds. Its weight is only 1850 grams, giving it an amazing power to weight ratio, supreme cornering speed and handling.
To put the power of the Schumacher Fusion in perspective relative to real cars; the Schumacher Fusion's power to weight ratio is well over 1000 HP per ton, which is not far off the power to weight ratio of a real Formula One car.
The engine is a .21 (3.5 ccm) Thunder Tiger with a CNC tuned pipe. There is a single carbon fibre disc brake in the system. The "E-start" system is used to start the engine, this means the starter is operated using a portable electric drill to twist the engine into life.
The gearbox is not natively adjustable, the only way of adjusting it is to open it and change the springs themselves.
;)

Hey, you seriously got a nice ride there, both Weeman and 4hero! I have a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII at the moment, and blue neons (custom made:D). My question is now: where can i find decals??? I visited the local shop, but they had no after-market stickers etc.
You paid over £500? LOL...
Schuies are generally poor cars...
Yokomo/serpent/etc are where it's at...
Also... Don't add decals... I run mine blank and use the stickers later to cover up scuffs...

my shell is sprayed from the inside, so its doesnt really get scuffed, u can sorta see where its been against a kurb a couple times, but u can see the scuffs on the stickers :( so i bought a supra shell to fuck up, forgot to clean the inside before i sprayed it though, so where my thumb had been at some pooint was slightly oily, and as soon as i hit a curb the paint flaked off on the rear arch lol, gives it a ghetto look B)

What's funny? 500 included many other (non-standard) bits and pieces.
Why do you recon the are poor? I know a few people with them, and we all have no issues with the schumy at all, except it is a nightmare to start sometimes.
Explain yourself mister ;)

weeman, whats all this rc drifting about then? Got any video links so I can have a look?
I suppose It depends on what you want from your toy really, When I was looking around for one, this one was just released, I saw top speed of 80mph and thought "I've got to get one of them :)"
As for the decal's Here's The Link Again (http://www.monster4x4rc.com/html/hints_tricks/BodyMods/Decals.htm) for starters, I'm sure there are more.

g0t air vents? lol
even on your old shell you had no cut outs for air to the air filter and cool the engine?
what marionville models did you happen to go to?
I've just got a HPi Rush Evo, pretty good got it for £200 on and off road spent loads modding it so it does about 60mph max off road, and with the chunky dirt bonz tires it wheelies like a bitch across the grass lol. Mines away at the HPi store while they order/fix/check-up my model.

You do need air vents though or it runs way too lean.
That model shop is that the one thats near the petrol station and is just a bit down the road from that massive round-a-bout thats always packed. I go there from time to time to get fuel. Good place. Although now i've found out that theres a HPi shop not far from me so i can get all the parts i need.
