Nokia 6230 & 6680

Are these phones any good? I'm bidding on them on eBay, as my old motorola just doesn't cut it(Well, I doubt it would cut through butter, even if it was red hot - it's shite)


Vein, had any experience with either? Plus' and minus'?

is it a 6230i or 6230? if it isnt a 'i' then go for the 6680 if it is then its up to if you like the syimbian software.

I don't really know the difference between normal PayG call stuff and 3G PayG stuff. Can someone explain?

9 days too late but 6230 isnt too bad, a year old now though so not really worth going for.
6680 is a good phone but is slower than 6630 in terms of speeds according to JBenchmark. And the 6680's cant be unlocked either.

The 6680 can be unlocked vein, who told you that?I have both phones still and both are good, but the 6680 is much better....get an N70 though, awesome phone!

It's a fact. I know mainstream unlocking services. Not even Nokia Service Centres can unlock 6680s, 6630s or N70s.
The most that can be done is to flash them with generic or branded software, and these do not affect the service provider lock.
