COD2, game won't start!

I've got Call Of Duty 2 on my PC now. When i try to run it i get a "Error during initialization:
Video card or driver doesn't support alpha blending."

What do i need to solve this problem? Anyone no what driver updates i may need?
My PC meets the SPECS, i just can't run the game, weird or what!
