Toyota Corolla toon

was bored at uni so have been having a little play on PS and have managed to toon this

Looking pretty cool! The carbon could use a little work though. Try and get it looking more like lines.

yeah not sure on how to do the carbon, they are all lines though, any suggestion would be appeciated

yeah there are still some bits im not happy with, but ill make sure thaey are sorted out by the final toon. nice to get some good responses on it :D

Looking good mate, db's carbon wouldn't look right imo. Different styles of tooning.

well ill speak to db and try his way and ill try my own way see which looks best, never done cf tooned before

open PS,

Go file > new

set it to be 3 x 3 with transpent bg

image the 3 x 3 grid as a mobile phone keypad:

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9

Fill 147 with black

then select all

edit > define pattern and give it a name

then on your toon make a new layer, fill it with that pattern

rotate the layer as needed and the delete bits that arent meant to be cf
