canon pwn in panoramics - a function called photostich mode, take the pics in that, then download the pics to the comp and the photostitch program sticks them together for you, takes into account perspective and everything 8)

Im also looking into this one atm. the one at the top of my list atm is the Fuji fine-pix s5600... loving that cam.

Most digital cameras do RAW....

I have a fuji s5000 and a canon 300d.....obvioulsy the canon owns because its a pro SLR, but the fuji is good too....i would say the canon though as they are just better all round...

Buckas, if you get a 1d ill slit your throat and steal it!

Its a bit of a jump and you wont notice tonnes of a difference unless your a pro photographer.... what about the 10d or 20d?

ive noticed the difference from the pics it takes, lol  + the resolution :| - i've had a eos300 slr for ages, so know all about slr's and photography in general - tbh, the 10/20d looked mediocre compared to the 1d mk2 from the sample pics ive seen, plus they dont have the immense 8.5fps. also if you're gonna spend 800, you may aswell go all out and spend 2k, ive got lenses allready that'll fit, so that saves some money, also same cf card format which ive got 2.5 gb allready.

maybe, dont know yet - i'll get the proper feeling when im holding the money in my hand
